People see the Whitby Clamp and they say: "WOW!!!"
Then they say: "Why didn't I think of that?"
That's because the Whitby Clamp is one of those brilliantly simple ideas that sparks a revolution. You know, like cats' eyes down the centre of the road?
The revolution in this case is the replacement of an unreliable, unsafe, antiquated, costly (etc… etc…) method of hand-tying cast-in channels with a superb, safe, lightweight, galvanized steel clamp that's just, well, brilliant.
The jaws, adjustable for any thickness of slab, are fastened to the outer steel frame or formwork shuttering. An adjustable positioning arm extends from the frame over the slab area, holding the channel in place.
It won't budge.
When the concrete hardens, the channel is perfectly flush with the slab surface and the correct distance from the edge. And you're very happy. You remove the clamps and use them again.

But wait! There's more. The Whitby Clamp is just the first in a series of innovative solutions for the construction industry.
Look out for further announcements. On with the revolution!
